The Forte Award 
Celebrating the Strength and Excelling of Oswestry School pupils

This week's Forte gathering was held by our Headmaster. He was delighted to meet with this week's winners and congratulate them on their efforts and achievements. Our winners were selected because they exhibited Forte virtues or values...


Hector (3rd Form)
Without fail, Hector brings a polite manner and positive good cheer to his interactions with the catering staff at lunchtime, putting a smile on their faces with his friendliness and impeccable manners. The small things really matter!


 

Dylan (4th Form)
Dylan has worked extremely hard to upskill himself in assistive technology to support his learning. He is thriving in lessons and flourishing in his efforts to achieve the best possible grades.

The girls have been successful in securing a place at the Nottingham Forest Netball Hub for U15s, following a series of challenging trials. A fantastic achievement and a testament to their talent and determination.

Edward (4th Form)
Edward is undertaking a short RE course and has shown an impressive understanding of key religious beliefs. His analytical thinking and independent approach have allowed him to flourish in this subject.

Heidi (4th Form)
Heidi has been working extremely hard across all her lessons, pushing herself and taking more academic risks. Her dedication has paid off, securing a high grade 5 in Business and a confident performance in her English speaking examination.

For their resilient and inspiring vocal trio performance in assembly, which was executed with confidence and skill. A brilliant showcase of talent that lifted the whole school community — well done!
