Scholarships & Bursaries
Oswestry School offers scholarships for candidates showing evidenced talent in and commitment to Academic subjects, Art and Design, Design and Technology, Performing Arts and Sports.
Scholarships can be worth up to a maximum remission of 20% of school fees.
Additional financial support is available through a means-tested bursary.

FAQs
Learning Support
At Oswestry School, learning support is offered to all pupils identified as having an additional need. This takes the form of in-class support and small group withdrawal which is included within the school fees. Where privately funded specialist sessions are required, parents will be billed separately.
Boarding
Boarding fees include tuition, accommodation, laundry, meals and snacks (three meals a day, served in the Refectory and snacks in the boarding houses). The fees also include pastoral care, EAL (English as an Additional Language), and the cost of most games and activities as part of the co-curricular and weekend activities programme.
Day Pupils
Day fees include tuition, pastoral care, the cost of most games and activities and lunch (served in the Refectory). Day pupils from First Form through to Upper Sixth may wish to stay overnight with an additional charge of £55 per night. This cost is reviewed annually.
Sibling Discounts
A sibling discount of 10% is granted to families with a second child in the school and is applied to the younger child's account. Further siblings each receive a 25% discount.
Old Oswestrian Discount
Upon request, Old Oswestrians are eligible for a 10% reduction in fees for their children.
Military Discount
In support of the Armed Forces Covenant, we offer serving members of the armed forces a 20% reduction in school fees.

Fees are charged in advance at the start of each term and are reviewed annually, fees may be subject to change at the discretion of the School Governing Body.
Acceptance deposits will be refunded after the pupil has left the school, subject to settlement of their final fees and other charges.
We offer wraparound care before and after school for Prep School pupils at an extra cost. There may be further charges for external examinations and optional paid extras such as additional specialist sports coaching, performing arts lessons or curriculum trips. Paid extras are billed in arrears alongside your fees. Parents/guardians will be notified of any extra costs payable.
