Friends of Oswestry School (FoOS)

Who We Are

The Friends of Oswestry School is a voluntary group dedicated to supporting the school through social, fundraising, and community-building activities. Whether you're a current or former parent, Old Oswestrian, staff member, or local supporter, you are warmly welcomed as part of our extended school family.

What We Do

We organise a wide range of events throughout the year to bring people together, raise funds for special projects, and enhance the pupil experience. From Christmas markets to bonfire and Burns nights, cheese and wine evenings and the annual summer ball, our events are designed to be inclusive, enjoyable, and beneficial to all.

The funds we raise help to support school initiatives, resources, and enrichment opportunities that fall outside the regular curriculum—ensuring every pupil has access to a well-rounded and inspiring education.

Get Involved

Whether you can spare a few hours a year or would like to play a more active role, we’d love to hear from you. Volunteering with the Friends is a fantastic way to meet other members of the community, support the school, and make a real difference.
