Year 6 Experience Day
From 8.15am - 4pm Monday 13th October 2025
We warmly invite current Year 6 pupils to join us for our Senior School Experience Day, a special opportunity to discover what life at Oswestry Senior School is all about.
Moving from Prep to Senior School is an exciting milestone, and at Oswestry we ensure every pupil feels supported, inspired, and ready for the next chapter. Throughout the day, pupils will take part in engaging lessons led by our subject specialists and enjoy an afternoon of Senior Games, offering a real taste of the opportunities that await them.
The Experience Day is designed to build confidence, spark curiosity, and help pupils begin forming friendships that will carry them into First Form in September 2026.

Sixth Form Information Evening
6pm, Thursday 20 November 2025
Join us for our Sixth Form Information Evening and discover what life is like at Oswestry School Sixth Form. You’ll have the chance to meet our Sixth Form team, speak with subject teachers, and hear directly from current pupils about their experiences. It’s also a great opportunity to explore our purpose-built Sixth Form Centre, which offers a modern, university-style environment designed to support independent study, collaboration, and personal growth.

Sixth Form Taster Day
Wednesday 26 November 2025
Step into the shoes of a Sixth Form pupil for a day and experience first-hand what makes Oswestry School Sixth Form so distinctive. You’ll join real lessons in the subjects that interest you, take part in enrichment activities, and spend time in our purpose-built Sixth Form Centre. Along the way, you’ll meet our dedicated staff and current pupils who will give you an authentic insight into life in our vibrant Sixth Form community.
Spaces for the Taster Day are limited, so we recommend booking early to secure your place. We look forward to welcoming you and helping you explore the next step in your educational journey.
Oswestry School Prep Stay & Play
Every Friday 1pm – 2:30pm, Starting Friday 5 September 2025
Join us for a fun, creative drop-in session for parents and toddlers aged 0–4. Held in our welcoming Early Years setting, it's the perfect way to end the week with complimentary coffee, cake and conversation. Our first session takes place on Friday 5 September 2025 at Oswestry School Prep, Bellan House, Church Street, Oswestry SY11 2ST.
Come to the front door of Oswestry Prep on Church Street and we will sign you in.
Oswestry School Prep Enrichment Sessions
Enrichment and Development afternoons, every Thursday 1:00pm - 3:00pm
Come and explore a wide range of learning-through-play and enrichment opportunities including:
- Fun and Phonics
- Dance & Movement
- Drama & Imagination Games
- Forest School Adventures
- Sport & Physical Play
Each session includes phonics and access to specialist teaching such as Forest School, Sport, Dance, and Drama.
Sessions will be bookable as half termly blocks.
Children must be aged between 3-4 years old.
Sessions are free of charge.
