What Makes Our Food Special
Freshly Prepared On Site: All meals are made daily by our dedicated team of in-house chefs.
- Fresh Ingredients: 90% of our dishes are created from fresh, quality ingredients.
- Locally Sourced Produce: We work closely with local suppliers wherever possible to ensure freshness and sustainability.
- Responsibly Sourced Meat & Eggs:
- We use only free-range eggs.
- Our ham is sourced from a single trusted farm—Houghton Hams Wiltshire Ham—accredited by the British Meat Processors Association charter standard.
- All UK-sourced meat carries the Red Tractor label, assuring high standards of welfare, traceability, and food safety, with no growth hormones or antibiotic residues.
- Varied Menus: Our menus operate on a three-week rotation to offer variety, seasonality, and balance (see sample menus below.)
- Healthy Recipes: We minimise salt, sugar, and saturated fats in our cooking, while incorporating whole grains and plant-based proteins to encourage a well-rounded diet.
Catering for All Needs
With a community of over 450 pupils and staff, we take dietary needs seriously. We accommodate a wide range of requirements, including gluten-free, lactose intolerance, Halal, vegetarian, and vegan diets. Each meal is carefully briefed to the catering team to ensure individual needs are met with care and precision.
