Scholarship Requirements and Fee Information- Scholarships are awarded based on exceptional ability and achievement, rather than participation alone.
- We welcome applications from pupils who compete or perform at County, Regional, or National level, or who are enrolled in recognised Advanced Training Programmes.
- Scholarships are not means-tested; however, financial assistance may be available through a separate, means-tested bursary scheme.
- Fee remissions are not guaranteed and vary depending on the nature and value of the award.
- Pupils can apply for a maximum of two Scholarship disciplines (e.g. Academic and Sport).
The Application ProcessAll scholarship applicants will complete the following steps:
- Online Application Form – Apply Now
- Cognitive Ability Test (CAT4) – conducted online on Scholarship Assessment Day
- Submission of Most Recent School Report (Not required for current Oswestry School pupils)
- Interview – on Scholarship Assessment Day with the Headmaster or a senior member of staff
- Subject-Specific Assessments – depending on the scholarship type applied for (e.g. Academic, Music, Art, Design & Technology, Sport)
