This week's Forte gathering was held by our Headmaster and Senior Deputy Headmaster. They were delighted to meet with this week's winners and congratulate them on their efforts and achievements. Our winners were selected because they exhibited Forte virtues or values...
Akaash (L6th Form)
Akaash not only swam in the 50m backstroke at the Swim England West Midlands Winter Meet, he broke the S8 British Record - what an outstanding achievement!

Côme and Noah have had a fabulous term as boarders in School House. Their commitment to making new friends, joining in the activities and being responsible young men have ensured they have both made a huge success of their term at Oswestry School. Well done both!
Annabelle (4th Form)
Annabelle has been selected to trial for the English Schools’ FA U15 Girls International team for season 2025-26. Amazing achievement Annabelle!
Mabli (2nd Form)
Mabli has been chosen to represent North East Wales Regional Hockey Programme (the North Wales Development Coach asked her to join specifically due to her recent performances). Great work Mabli!
Frieda (5th Form)
Frieda created an excellent presentation about her life, the culture and language in Germany, which she presented to residents at the Bluebell View Care Home as part of Community Action. The residents really enjoyed it, and were very interested in what she had to say.
Betsy (3rd Form)
Well done on producing such a high quality 3D health and safety sign. Betsy showed great effort, creativity and attention to detail. Her Nuclear model was brilliant!
Jasper (3rd Form)

Johanna (5th Form)
Johanna has settled in really well at Oswestry School and has made many new friends. She has impressed the boarding team with her growth in confidence - overcoming her initial nervousness from when she started in September.
Julia (4th Form)
Julia has really made herself at home and fully embraced boarding life. She is so kind and friendly, and has impressed the boarding staff with her 'have a go' attitude.

For having immersed herself so fully into all areas of school life since joining Oswestry at half term and making such a positive impact.

Oscar continues to be proactive in his studies and has gone above and beyond to research UCAS and his application. He is working so hard and we are very proud of your achievements.
