This week's Forte gathering was held by our Headmaster and Deputy Head of Co Curricular and Partnerships. They were delighted to meet with this week's winners and congratulate them on their efforts and achievements. Our winners were selected because they exhibited Forte virtues or values...


 

Ella (Lower Sixth form)
Having chatted with Frieda about how she was settling into the Sixth Form, she said that Ella had been exceptionally welcoming and friendly when she did not know anyone. She was really grateful to Ella for helping her settle.

In recognition of outstanding enthusiasm, collaboration and commitment in running the best Oswald House Enterprise stall.

Ffion (Upper Sixth form)
For a fantastic vocal performance at assembly this week. The performance was sung very technically and emotively, and you were very willing from the start to do it. Well done.

Lucas (3rd form)
Lucas has been an exceptional pupil since he joined us. I am nominating him for consistently demonstrating a positive nature to all those around him. Lucas leaves at half term and, quite remarkably, has not been nominated for a Forte yet. This may be because he is consistently doing the right thing and has not been recognised as yet. I nominate Lucas for his modelling of excellent behaviour both in the house, the sports field and around school. A true Oswestrian.

These pupils were a brilliant help in reading in the Third Form assembly to launch the South African Exchange Programme. Their presentation was clear, articulate, smart and well presented, exactly the sort of role modelling and projection expected of an Oswestry School pupil and of the exciting and life-changing experience that South Africa offers. Really well done and thank you.
