The Forte Award
Celebrating the Strength and Excelling of Oswestry School pupils

This week's Forte gathering was held by our Headmaster and Deputy Head of Co-curricular and Partnerships. They were delighted to meet with this week's winners and congratulate them on their efforts and achievements. Our winners were selected because they exhibited Forte virtues or values...

Tristan (2nd)
Tristan has qualified for Hickstead in August. A phenomenal achievement from a young horse rider.

Akaash (L6th)
In the British Para Championships, Akaash came 5th in the "A" final of the 100m backstroke. Akaash also competed in Paris at the Para World Series where he had a brilliant week and won the 100m Butterfly Youth Gold. Akaash then travelled to Berlin for his next competition.

Rory (5th)

Henry (4th)

Samuel (L6th)

Grace (L6th)

Tom (L6th)

Jack (L6th)
Well done on achieving 3rd place at the CSAAM (Cadet Skill at Arms Meeting) shooting competition at RAF Cosford. The team grouping average secured the 3rd place award. For half of the team this was their first time firing the L98A2 Cadet GP rifle. Well done!

Tabby (L6th)
For an excellent piano performance at assembly this week. Aside from the courage it takes to play in front of over a 100 peers, Tabby performed, with great technical accuracy, a piece that she had arranged herself by ear - an impressive achievement that takes a lot of musicality. Tabby is always keen to take on performance opportunities.

Diane C-A (4th)

Arthur (4th)

Pierre (4th)

Émilie (4th)

Abigaël (4th)
This is in recognition of all the hard work and enthusiasm you showed in sharing your culture with the Senior School. Thank you for giving up a Sunday afternoon to make crêpes, serve them during your break time and prepare and deliver an engaging and informative assembly on the education system in France. Merci beaucoup!
