This week's Forte gathering was held by our Headmaster and Deputy Head of Academic and Futures. They were delighted to meet with this week's winners and congratulate them on their efforts and achievements. Our winners were selected because they exhibited Forte virtues or values...

Rory (5th form)
Rory was able to give an informative and articulate talk to a room full of parents about his neurodiversity. Parents were extremely complimentary about his personal reflections.
Izzy (4th form)
Izzy has been the top borrower of the School Library this term. She has borrowed and read 44 books. Izzy also regularly recommends books to other pupils and helps them to select something they would enjoy, supporting our mission to encourage reading for pleasure.
Tabbitha (5th form)
Tabby was able to give an informative and articulate talk to a room full of parents about neurodiversity. Parents were extremely complimentary about her personal reflections and advice given.
Rose (4th form)
Rose was exceptional in House Netball. Her movement, timing and spatial awareness were evident, and she has clearly made substantial progress this term in Netball.
Oscar (Lower Sixth form)
Oscar has made a significant contribution to others and the LS garden initiative. He has grown in confidence and is empathetic and willing to take on whatever responsibility he is given.
Isla (1st form)
Isla has settled amazingly well into the life of Oswestry School. She has worked independently in all subject areas and tries her absolute hardest to succeed. Well done Isla.

Mabli (2nd form)
In recognition of exceptional innovation and creativity demonstrated in enterprise branding. Grace, Florence and Mabli are nominated for their well thought out and well-executed branding at the Christmas Fair with their ‘Candy Cane Lane’ stall. Rosa worked independently to craft beautiful decorations and make delicious fudge, branded ‘Rosa’s Homemade Fudge’, for the Christmas Fair.
Bella (4th form)
Gabriella (4th form)
Bella and Gabriella gave an outstanding presentation on greenhouse design. They researched and carefully considered the key factors affecting photosynthesis and prepared an excellent slideshow. Well done.
Samuel (Lower Sixth form)
Sammy completed two music exams on the morning of Wednesday 3rd December: Grade 6 Singing and Grade 6 Saxophone, both within an hour of each other. He achieved a merit in Singing and a distinction in Saxophone. An excellent achievement. Well done, Sammy.
Ted (Upper Sixth form)
Ted is a dedicated SEND Ambassador and can always be relied upon to support the work of the SEND team. He is approachable, has an excellent rapport with pupils and parents, and is always willing to give up his time to help the provision continue to grow.
