The Forte Award
Celebrating the Strength and Excelling of Oswestry School pupils
This week's Forte gathering was held by our Headmaster. He was delighted to meet with this week's winners and congratulate them on their efforts and achievements. Our winners were selected because they exhibited Forte virtues or values...

Dubem (L6th Form)
Isaac (L6th Form)
Anson (L6th Form)
Janis (L6th Form)
Louis (U6th Form)
Ilia (5th Form)
For Community Action the boys put together a presentation on the Solar System and then delivered it to a number of residents at Bluebell Care Home. The residents were absolutely delighted and very much appreciated the effort the boys put in and their willingness to come and share with them. Each of the boys also gave a brief, impromptu presentation about themselves and their backgrounds, which led to some lovely conversations over refreshments afterwards.

Jerry (4th Form)
Jerry has entered the 4th Form with a mature and positive growth mindset, both towards his academic work and improved focus and concentration. This Forte recognises Jerry's hard work and efforts. Keep up the great work, Jerry.
Arthur (4th Form)
Arthur has made an exceptional start this term and is flourishing. His English, especially his diction, has massively improved and this is because he is so keen to chat and make new friends. Mrs Lowry loves listening to Arthur’s stories about his grandfather and hopes that he will be able to visit Oswestry to meet us. Well done, Arthur.
Arda (1st Form)
Arda has made an exemplary start to secondary school, consistently demonstrating the school’s virtues and values. He has shown kindness and inclusivity towards others, and his commitment to his academic work has been commendable. It is particularly pleasing to see the progress he has made as he embraces new opportunities with determination and positivity.
