The Forte Award
Celebrating the Strength and Excelling of Oswestry School pupils
This week's Forte gathering was held by our Headmaster and Deputy Head of Academic and Futures. They were delighted to meet with this week's winners and congratulate them on their efforts and achievements. Our winners were selected because they exhibited Forte virtues or values...

Ruby R (4th)
Mr Price was very impressed by Ruby in her English lesson yesterday. She was engaged and committed, and she also took the time to help her peers. Outstanding work Ruby - well done!

Janice W (5th)
Janice works so hard but never fails to ask how the people around her are and how their day has been. She is genuinely kind and thoughtful. She is an excellent role model.

Yu Yeung Cai (2nd)
Yu Yeung has impressed me over the course of the year with his excellent conduct, positive behaviour, consistent effort, and the enthusiasm with which he has thrown himself into all aspects of Oswestry School life.
Pierre N (2nd)
Pierre, you have made a fabulous start to your first term at Oswestry School. Well done!

Eoin L (2nd)
Miss Suckley is incredibly proud to award Eoin a Forte Award. This recognition is a direct result of the outstanding maturity Eoin has demonstrated recently. He has shown a remarkable turnaround in his overall attitude, approach, and organisation, showing a newfound level of responsibility and dedication. Eoin has truly focused on getting things right, and his active engagement in all areas of school life has been brilliant to see. His hard work and positive shift in mindset have been evident to everyone this term. Congratulations, Eoin; keep up the fantastic work!

Hugh C (1st)
Maxwell S (1st)
Leighton Thomas (1st)
These boys have worked hard on our National Year of Reading 'Go All In' theme. They have helped make posters, recommended books and comics to other readers, and have been creative and had innovative ideas of how we can encourage other pupils to use the library. They are all enthusiastic members of the library's Bring Your Own Book Club!

Lola M R (4th)
For showing resilience, maturity, and determination both inside and outside the classroom this year. She comes to school each day with a positive attitude, treats others with kindness, and consistently gives her best. Lola should be proud of her quiet determination and the strength of character she demonstrates every day.
Jack M (4th)
In recognition of Jack’s exceptional resilience in recent weeks. He quietly gets on with things, never seeks attention, and continues to approach school life with positivity and perseverance. His efforts and mature outlook have not gone unnoticed.
