We are delighted to announce the launch of a brand-new Modern Pentathlon Development Programme at Oswestry School! As part of our commitment to providing exciting new sporting opportunities and pathways for our pupils, we are introducing training in some of the sport's most dynamic disciplines, including Laser Run, Triathle, and Biathle. This is a fantastic opportunity for pupils to develop new skills, challenge themselves competitively, and get involved in an exciting, rapidly growing sport. To celebrate the launch, we would like to invite all interested families and pupils from Year 3 and above to a special taster event to learn more.

Event Schedule
4:15pm – 4:35pm: Welcome Presentation
Families will be welcomed for an introduction covering:
- Why this programme is launching and how it aligns with the school's sporting vision.
- Our aims and aspirations for Modern Pentathlon at Oswestry School.
- An overview of the disciplines (Laser Run, Triathle, and Biathle) and competition structures.
- An explanation of the specialist equipment and what to expect in regular training.
- An opportunity for your questions and discussion.
4:35pm – 5:15pm: Demonstrations & Coaching Session
Pupils and families will have the chance to see live demonstrations of the specialist equipment, meet our coaching team, and take part in a fun, practical taster session!
Who is this for?
If your child has a passion for sport, a spirit for adventure, or simply wants to try something completely new and rewarding, we want to see them there! No prior experience in pentathlon is required; just determination and enthusiasm.
