It's been a busy two weeks of Sport in the Prep School. Mrs Edwards gave some excellent feedback from last week's swimming gala:
"I just wanted to let you know how proud I am of the Prep School pupils who swam in the gala at Moreton Hall during their games sessions last Thursday. The swimmers showed that they enjoyed racing against the strong competition from Kings and Moreton Hall. In addition, their behaviour on the poolside was impeccable.
The following children attended the gala:
Year 3 - Luna, Millie, Oliver, Fletcher.
Year 4 - Pip, George, Robin, Martha, Charlotte.
Year 5- Fait, Freddie, Ellie, Bella.
Year 6 - Eli, William, Edward, Joseph, Kate, Evan and Lucy.
I am delighted to announce that the results were as follows -
1st Place - Oswestry School
2nd Place - Kings of Chester
3rd Place - Moreton Hall.

This week, we have enjoyed fixtures against Ellesmere College on Thursday, with our U19 & U11 Rugby & Netball players flourishing on the sports field. Congratulations to Emma (Y6) for her super defence skills and Tam (Y6) who made excellent interceptions to stop Ellesmere from scoring. Likewise. Ella (Y6) was a fantastic captain and positive with the team. In Rugby, there were excellent tries scored by William (Y6) and Freddie (Y5) to secure a close win against Ellesmere College. For Year 3 & 4 Boys. Edward led the team and organised them into their defensive and attacking formations. Likewise, Mr Anderson reported superb tries from William, Robin and Thomas.
