We are thrilled to recognise Brodie for an exceptional run of sporting success across both shooting and tennis this term.
Brodie began by competing at the British Shooting Schools East Midlands Pistol Qualifier, where he delivered an outstanding score of 178, placing him first going into the mini final. Showing impressive composure and focus under pressure, he went on to win the final shootout, securing the gold medal and qualification for the National Finals in February 2026.
Soon after, Brodie travelled to Cardiff for the Welsh Pistol Qualifier. Having already secured his place in the National Finals, he entered the competition with less pressure but still produced another superb performance. In a field of 30 shooters, he matched his excellent score of 178 and once again won the final shootout, earning a second gold medal.
Adding to his achievements, Brodie also competed in the 12 & Under Grade 3 tennis tournament at Ellesmere. In a highly competitive draw, he reached the semi-finals, finishing 3rd/4th overall. In a standout moment, he defeated the tournament’s number 2 seed, who was ranked almost 300 places above him nationally.
A remarkable set of results across two sports. Congratulations, Brodie, on a fantastic all-round performance.
