Oswestry School Prep Shines at Shrewsbury School Cross Country Hunt

Oswestry School Prep proudly represented the school at the prestigious Shrewsbury School Cross Country Hunt on Sunday 12th October, with our U11 and U9 teams competing against a strong field of schools from across the region. Both boys and girls took part in what was a fantastic day of cross-country running.

Our U9 Boys team delivered an outstanding performance, showing brilliant teamwork and determination to secure 2nd place overall. Huge congratulations to Oscar, Charlie, Charlie, Henry, Alex, Oliver, Fletcher and Gus for their superb efforts and commitment on the course.

Equally impressive, our U11 Boys team achieved a 3rd place finish, demonstrating strength, resilience and great team spirit. Well done to Sebastian, Freddie, Pip, George, Thomas and William for representing Oswestry School Prep with pride and energy.

A special mention goes to William, who ran a remarkable race to claim 1st place and a gold medal in the U11 Boys individual competition—a fantastic personal achievement and a highlight of the day.

We are immensely proud of all our runners who showed true sportsmanship, perseverance and teamwork. A big thank you also to the staff, families and supporters who cheered on our athletes throughout the event.
