Sun, Sand and Sprinkles: Prep Beach Day Delight

Our Prep Reception pupils swapped their classrooms for sandy shores last week as they enjoyed a fabulous Beach Day, filled with sunshine, laughter and seaside adventures, all without leaving the school grounds.

The day was packed with creative fun. Pupils stepped into the role of daring pirates as they balanced carefully while walking the plank. Cool paddles in the pool offered welcome relief from the summer heat, with happy splashes and laughter echoing around the playground.

One of the biggest highlights was our mini ice cream shop. Pupils eagerly crafted their own ice creams and piled them high with colourful sprinkles. As well as enjoying delicious scoops, they discovered the fun of making ice cream themselves and learned that the science behind ice cream can be just as exciting as the taste.

Beach Day was a wonderful mix of learning, play and pure summer joy. Judging by the smiles and sticky fingers all around, it was a day to remember.
