As part of their current topic on growing and planting, our Reception children recently enjoyed a wonderful learning experience with a visit to a local greengrocer. The trip was an opportunity for the children to see where fresh produce is bought from and to explore the colours, textures, and smells of a wide variety of fruits.
Back in the classroom, the fun continued as the children used their fruity purchases to create their own fruit kebabs — combining learning with a healthy, delicious treat!
