
On the last week of term, the Maes-Y-Llan was alive with excitement as the Headmaster’s XI faced off against the Oswestry School XI in a much-anticipated cricket fixture.
The Headmaster’s XI set the pace early on, showcasing some outstanding batting to post an impressive total of 107 runs. Spectators were treated to a fantastic display of skill, spirit, and sportsmanship.
However, the Oswestry School XI rose to the challenge with determination and resilience. As the match came down to the wire, with just a few balls remaining, the school team held their nerve and clinched a dramatic victory.
