Sports trip to Spain

Over the half-term break, a group of our enthusiastic 1st to 3rd Form pupils enjoyed an action-packed sports tour to the beautiful Costa Brava, Spain. The trip was a fantastic opportunity to develop skills in both football and netball, all while soaking up the Spanish sunshine and creating unforgettable memories.

Alongside their training sessions and competitive games, pupils had the chance to enjoy a wide range of activities, including bowling, arcades, shopping, a trip to a local waterpark, and beach walks complete with ice cream stops. Highlights of the cultural side of the trip included visits to the world-famous Nou Camp Stadium and the bustling Las Ramblas in Barcelona. Downtime was equally enjoyable, with pupils cooling off in the hotel pool and relaxing in the warm sunshine – with temperatures consistently between 25–28°C throughout the week.

Our pupils were nothing short of outstanding – bringing energy, good humour, and a fantastic team spirit to every moment. Their enthusiasm and behaviour made the trip an absolute joy for staff and a memorable experience for everyone involved.

A special thank you goes to Dom from @activ4schooltours, whose organisation and support once again helped make the tour run smoothly from start to finish.

School trips like these create lifelong memories for pupils and staff alike – and this Costa Brava adventure will certainly be remembered as one of the highlights of the year.
