Donation Performing Arts

The Non-Stop! Charity Challenge takes place on Friday and Saturday, March 7 and 8, and we have lots of activities and challenges taking place to engage all members of the Oswestry School community. There is still plenty of time to sign up to the challenges we have set, or support our many exciting performances and activities designed to appeal to everyone and anyone!

We have many staff and pupils signed up to spin, run and dance throughout the 24-hour event, but we need more support.

How can you help? You cold run 'till you flop in our treadmill challenge, cycle till you swop in our spin bike challenge, or bop till you drop in our 24-hour danceathon.
Our rowing machines are available to those please contact Anna Evans

if a personal challenge is not for you, you can support the event by attending any of the events and performances taking place inside the Drama Studio. These are open to all - for a donation, of course!

Remember, you will not miss out if you cannot attend in person. The event will be live-streamed for the entire 24 hours. We will also have a group of roving reporter pupils working on the ground during the event to ensure all stories are covered, so please watch out for extra news bulletins on our live feed and social media platforms.

All the action takes place in the Drama Studio and on the Quad. The challenge stats at 2 pm on Friday 7 March, with the Headmaster leading the way with a challenge to run 50K on the treadmill. A special thanks to Core Gym in Oswestry for generously lending us a fantastic treadmill to the school for the event. Mr Middleton will be joined by dozens of staff and pupils on spin bikes and rowing machines, all working furiously to earn sponsorship for the Performing Arts Centre appeal.

Meanwhile, pupils at Oswestry Prep are undertaking their own '8 'til late' Walkathon challenge on Friday 7 March on the Maes-y-Llan, starting at 8 am. Sponsor forms have gone out with all pupils this week, and all pupils who have already signed up for the event will receive an email next week from Miss Evans, with parents copied in. This is to confirm arrangements and ensure everyone is happy with their contribution to the event.

We are urging the whole Oswestry School community to get behind this event in any way possible. In the meantime, please take time to watch our Non-Stop Charity Challenge Video, and share it with friends and family. If you feel inspired to donate towards the appeal at any time, you can do so via our fundraising page: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/pacappeal
