On Monday 10th March, Mr Middleton was delighted to attended The High Sheriff of Shropshire's Outstanding Young Citizen Awards at Telford College, to support Oswestry pupils who had been nominated for awards within the award categories including Environmental Activities, Politics, Family, Community Activities and Voluntary Work.
We were delighted that three pupils were nominated for awards - Hannah in the environmental category; Tristan in the family category and Will in the political category - and they all received their awards from the High Sheriff, Mr Brian Welti, at the event.
We were very proud of all three, and thrilled that on the night, Will was announced as the overall winner in the Political category!
It was a wonderful occasion where the achievements of so many of Shropshire's inspiring young people were celebrated. Congratulations to everyone, and especially to the overall winners of these categories.
