This week's Forte gathering was held by our Headmaster, Mr Middleton, and Deputy Head (Co-Curricular and Partnerships), Mr Mahony. Both were delighted to be able to meet with this week's winners and congratulate them on their efforts and achievements. Our winners were selected because they exhibited Forte virtues or values...
We were delighted to be joined by visiting Head Mr Darryn Green from Ysgol Dafydd Llwyd, who enjoyed meeting our Forte award winners and former pupils of Ysgol Dafydd Llwyd.
Erin (4th), Izzy (3rd)
For giving up a Sunday Afternoon, especially as this one was Mother's Day, to take lead the procession from School to St Oswald's Church in preparation for the High Sheriff's Legal Service. Not only did the cadets have to march at the front of the procession, but they were being filmed the whole way down and live streamed into St Oswald's Church. This meant that appearance and being in step the whole way down was rather vital. They did a superb job and represented the School and the CCF giving us a real sense of pride in our role. Mr Hibbert received a personal thank-you afterwards from a Major General who commended us on our performance. Well done and a huge Thank-You.

Liam (1st)
Liam demonstrated exceptional maturity and kindness during the last half term by acting as a buddy for a visiting taster pupil. He went above and beyond what was expected of him, not only ensuring that the pupil felt welcomed and supported throughout their visit, but also taking it upon himself to answer questions, offer guidance, and provide reassurance in unfamiliar surroundings. His willingness to take initiative and his thoughtful, inclusive approach did not go unnoticed. Several members of staff were particularly impressed by the sense of responsibility and care he showed, marking him out as a positive role model within the school community. His efforts made a real difference, and he should be very proud of the impact he had. Well done!
