This week's Forte gathering was held by our Headmaster, Mr Middleton, and Senior Deputy Head, Mr Lane. Both were delighted to be able to meet with this week's winners and congratulate them on their efforts and achievements. Our winners were selected because they exhibited Forte virtues or values...

Louis (2nd)
Excellent work on his Solar Still explanation and class display. Louis completed a formative assessment piece, comparing a laboratory still to a solar still. Solar stills provide potable water from non-potable via distillation. Louis produced prose and diagrams far stronger than the rest of the group. He also played a lead role in turning his individual work into an impressive class display.
Sophie (4th)
Sophie has shown amazing results in these last two terms in biology! She has gone from strength to strength through lots of independent hard work. Her confidence in the classroom has grown, and her verbal responses are always relatable. A HUGE well done, Sophie.
Bella (2nd)
Excellent work on her Solar Still explanation and class display. Bella completed a formative assessment piece, comparing a laboratory still to a solar still. Solar stills provide potable water from non-potable via distillation. Bella produced prose and diagrams far stronger than the rest of the group. She also played a lead role in turning her individual work into an impressive class display.
Henry (3rd)
Henry has made a wonderful book prop in response to the DT World Book Day optional prep task. He was challenged to design and make a prop or scene from his favourite book. Henry made Roronoa Zoro's sword (Sandai Kitetsue) from the book series 'One Piece'. Well done.
