This week's Forte gathering was held by our Headmaster, Mr Middleton, and Deputy Head (Co-Curricular and Partnerships), Mr Mahony. Both were delighted to be able to meet with this week's winners and congratulate them on their efforts and achievements. Our winners were selected because they exhibited Forte virtues or values...


Antonin (5th)
Antonin has been an exemplary role model and extremely helpful to his peers, helping other pupils settle into the school. He is very helpful and always considerate of others. Antonin is also working hard in his academic lessons. Overall he is a standout pupil and we appreciate all he does.

Zeya (5th)
Zeya is nominated for a Forte Award in recognition of her exceptional growth within the Guinevere House Prefect Team and her leadership as a Head of Family. Her enhanced leadership abilities are clearly visible, and her dedication to her duties is unwavering. Zeya's compassion for those under her care is commendable. Zeya brings joy to the community and she is cherished by the girls in the house.

Bella (4th)
Bella has been successfully chosen to represent Shropshire at this year’s Inter-Counties Cross Country Championships, to be held in the Grounds of Wollaton Park, Nottingham, on Saturday 8 th March 2025. She will be one of eight runners in the U15 age group representing Shropshire.

Sophia (2nd)

For continued hard work, and dedication shown to her dance studies which have resulted in a huge leap in her ability. Ms Thompson is so proud of you Sophia, well done.

Isaac (L6th)

Isaac has shown superb focus and revision in Geography. Keep up the great work Isaac!

Oscar (5th)
Persistently working hard in sport science and demonstrating excellent independence to his revision and learning.

Gruff (5th)

Gruff has been dedicating time to his sport science revision and attended club on Monday night to show me all of his revision notes. This is an exceptional attitude and I hope it continues.

Wang (L6th)

For a well-executed performance on violin during assembly, stepping up and choosing an instrument and piece that put you out of your comfort-zone!

Sebastian (1st)
Since the start of term, Seb has worked incredibly hard in his library lessons and on extended tasks at home. He has shown a fantastic, mature attitude to his studies, is broadening his reading in his free time, and is producing work of a consistently high standard every week.

Max (1st)
Max has taken ownership over his learning and is taking responsibility for getting prepared and organised for all tasks independently. He has made huge strides in becoming meta cognitive. Well done Max!
