This week Year 3 thoroughly enjoyed becoming Vikings for a day! The children acted out the Lindisfarne raid, imagining what it would have been like as a Viking warrior. Year 3 then researched about how the Vikings lived, dressed and what they would do for their jobs. Finally, they used clay to write their names in runic symbols. We considered what else we wanted to learn about the Vikings, ready to start our enquiry.
