
This week's Forte gathering was held by our Headmaster, Mr Middleton, and Senior Deputy Head, Mr Lane. Both were delighted to be able to meet with this week's winners and congratulate them on their efforts and achievements. Our winners were selected because they exhibited Forte virtues or values...
Bella (4th)
Bella played in the Shropshire U14 County Doubles Tennis competition over the summer holidays, alongside Bella Burton and they as a pair became U14 County Double Champions.

Winner of the Shropshire U14 County Tennis Tournament. Bella played in the Shropshire County Competitions over the summer holidays and ended up winning in the final to become champion.
Verity (2nd)
Verity has been successful over the summer in all her sporting endeavours including Oswestry Women and Girls 1st team cricket. Verity also took part in the Border Counties gymnastics competition against advanced and squad gymnasts. She competed in the under 14 category and placed gold in bars, silver in floor and silver in vault.
Charlotte (3rd)
County Cricket Selection for Shropshire County Cricket Squad, following a number of trials and sessions over the summer holidays. In addition, she has been representing Oswestry Womens & Ladies Cricket Team on a regular basis, playing againest adults and established cricket players.
Arthur (L6)
A huge well done to Arthur for his success in achieving a place in Shrewsbury Storm U18s Basketball squad, he is becoming an accomplished player and an asset to his team.
Reuben (4th)
For his sporting excellence at the recent U15 ISFA football Trials and selection into the national team for the 2nd year running. A true testament to his hard work and commitment!
Thomas (2nd)
Excellent achievements at the School Games National Finals. One of the youngest athletes in the field, Thomas will compete across the 5 Modern Pentathlon disciplines over 3 days.
Yuji (5th)
Many congratulations to Yuji for completing his GCSE in Japanese with a grade 9. An outstanding achievement and a show of perseverance through 9 years of Saturday school study - well deserved!
Kaka (4th)
Kaka borrowed a large number of English books from the library for the summer, and took time to read all of them. As soon as he came back, he borrowed several more! His English has improved enormously as a result of his hard work during the summer holidays. He is an excellent role model to both boarders and day pupils, demonstrating how much you can achieve with a proactive approach to learning outside of the classroom.
