It was a fantastic, fun-filled family day at this year’s Easter Monday Eyton Race meet.
One of the highlights of the day was seeing our Oswestry School equestrian team take to the track with the special opportunity to ride out prior to the first race — a proud and memorable moment for all involved.
Oswestry School is a continued sponsor of this annual event, and Headmaster Mr Middleton was honoured to represent the school by presenting the trophies following the final race.
However, perhaps the greatest prize of the day went to young Hector, who was crowned winner of our Oswestry National Riding competition — and rode off with a giant Easter egg!
We’re already looking forward to the next Eyton Races fixture on Monday 5th May, which promises to be another fantastic day of point-to-point racing. We’ll be there once again, along with the now (in)famous Equicizer Horse Riding Simulator! Its a fabulous day out, do come and visit out stand and say hello!
