2nd Form 3rd Form

Oswestry School pupils, Sienna (3rd Form) and Charlotte (2nd Form), shone during the indoor hardball season. Over the course of four weeks, the two contributed with both bat and ball, and in the field in a development league held at Sundorne Games Hall.

In a league predominately filled with adults, Sienna and Charlotte were commended for their skill and determination, and praised highly for their success by many opposing players.

Both Sienna and Charlotte held their own – not an easy task when faced with strong and experienced batters at the other end. Runs were often kept to a minimum and wickets came from bowling tidy overs. With bat in hand, they both excelled and improved as the weeks went on.

Sienna and Charlotte are no longer shy and quiet members of the team – they are well-respected, outgoing, and much-loved team mates who both have great futures in the sport.
