Our latest, and perhaps most unusual, co-curricular club – Beekeeping – is now in full swing following the successful installation of beehives and the arrival of a thriving bee colony over the summer months. Last week, club members had the exciting opportunity to visit the hives and observe the fascinating stages of the bees' life cycle, including eggs, larvae, capped brood, nectar, and honey on the frame.

In the coming weeks, we will focus on preparing the bees for winter, ensuring they are well-protected and ready to survive the colder months. As you can see from the photo, the beekeeping club offers a hands-on experience with nature’s pollinators!
