Competition

Pupils from our equestrian team competed at a NSEA (National Schools Equine Association), Regional Show Jumping competition at Southview Equestrian Centre in Cheshire. The team produced some lovely clears around a twisty course where they Competed against 12 other schools, and 27 riders.

Maisey and her horse Oakfield Apache were in the rosettes, with a foot-perfect performance, being placed 4th in the 70cm.

New pupil, Tristan, had the fastest time of the class, but unfortunately a costly pole. Tristan and his horse, World War, showing they are certainly a pairing to watch for the future.

A bigger class of 40 riders in the 80cm, against 17 schools and 8 teams, Oswestry claimed a team 5th place, with Poppy debuting on her new stallion, Woody, Lexie showing scope on Melody, Maisey and Tristan. Poppy secured a great double clear in the 90cm, sadly just one place out of the rosettes.

An exciting start to the school's equestrian season!
