This morning, a group of Oswestry students joined an online Economics conference which was run by Queen Mary's University, London (QMUL) and was focused on Women in Economics.  It was hosted by Eileen Tipoe with panel guests from HSBC Eastern Europe, Goldman Sachs and NERA, offering advice on work options in Economics, the challenges of working in a largely male dominated industry and how to apply for both university and jobs.

11 girls from L6 Business and Economics attended and found it a useful exercise.  It is hoped that they will get the opportunity to visit QMUL in the summer term next year.
