GCSE Subjects

The Oswestry School GCSE curriculum allows most pupils to study nine GCSEs, including three or four optional subjects. Music, Drama, and Dance are available as co-curricular options, as well as offering an additional GCSE opportunity. Pupils wishing to study additional languages beyond those delivered in the core curriculum have the opportunity to sit GCSEs in Welsh, Chinese, Russian, German and Italian. 

The aim for the Fourth and Fifth Form is to provide a balanced curriculum that accommodates all pupils while supporting their specialisation required for various Sixth Form courses.
