Our Sixth Form Team

From subject choices to pastoral care, our experienced Sixth Form Team are here to guide you at every stage. Whether it’s discussing future university or career options, helping to balance academic study with co-curricular life, or simply being a friendly face to talk to, we work closely with pupils and parents alike to make the transition to Sixth Form as smooth and rewarding as possible.
Subjects We Offer
With over 20 subjects to choose from, our Sixth Form provides the flexibility for every pupil to create a pathway that reflects their interests, strengths, and ambitions. Whether your passion lies in the sciences, the arts, humanities, or business, you’ll find a wide variety of A Level and BTEC options designed to stretch and inspire. We also encourage pupils to look beyond their chosen subjects through our enrichment programme, developing the skills, confidence, and independence needed for life beyond Oswestry.

Our Information Evening is designed for pupils currently in Year 11 (both at Oswestry School and other schools) who are considering Sixth Form, along with their parents or guardians.
Yes, we ask all families to register using the sign-up form so we can prepare welcome packs and arrange refreshments.
Yes, there is free on-site parking available. Our staff will be on hand to guide you.
Yes, our Sixth Form Team and subject teachers will be available throughout the evening for one-to-one conversations.
You’ll hear from our Head of Sixth Form, meet subject teachers, explore our wide choice of courses, and chat with current pupils about their experiences.
Yes, both full-time and weekly boarding are available. Our Boarding Team will be on hand to answer questions.
