Our First Form pupils enjoyed an adventure-filled day on Monday at the Edge Adventure Centre in Much Wenlock. They took part in archery, a treasure hunt, teamwork puzzles and a ‘nightline’ blindfold rope walk. These exciting challenges are designed to build confidence, teamwork and trust. The trip provided the perfect opportunity for pupils to strengthen new friendships and develop their team spirit. From navigating each task together to celebrating their achievements, the group demonstrated the cooperation and camaraderie we hoped to see.
Mr Taylor remarked that the pupils’ behaviour was impeccable throughout the day. Impressively, the Edge Adventure instructor praised them as the best-behaved group he had seen in his 20-year career. Such glowing feedback is a real credit to the pupils’ maturity and positive attitude. The success of the outing has set a wonderful tone for the year ahead, confirming that our new First Form is already forging strong bonds of friendship and teamwork.
