The £1.5 million Performing Arts Centre Appeal

Pledge your support here

I am delighted to share our vision for an ambitious new Performing Arts Centre at the heart of Oswestry School and our wider community. This exciting project will enrich the lives of future generations, providing a dedicated space to inspire creativity, confidence, and collaboration.

With planning permission secured and a generous lead donation of £500,000 already pledged, our fundraising campaign is well underway. Together, we have the opportunity to create a vibrant hub for the Performing Arts—both for our pupils and for the town of Oswestry.

Our Theatre, our dream.

What the performing arts means to us...

The Aspiration and Plans

A new two-storey extension will create essential space for the arts, with a striking public entrance designed for community use during school hours. Mature trees and bespoke landscaping will frame an elegant arrival, complemented by outdoor seating and a performance area ideal for summer concerts and gatherings.

A separate, secure school entrance via The Quad will provide easy daytime access for pupils and staff.

To the west, a modern, flexible space will offer facilities for rehearsals, exhibitions, smaller events, and an intimate concert venue with box office.

The original Memorial Hall will be transformed into a state-of-the-art, sound-proofed theatre with raked seating for 160, a professional sound and lighting booth, and sprung flooring for dance.

The extension will also include a sound-proofed, multi-use studio for music, dance, and drama rehearsals.
