Holbache is home to 39 boys in Years 7-13 and offers excellent facilities.
Holbache has spacious common rooms and a well-equipped kitchen. Holbache can accommodate boys in a variety of rooms with bedrooms for boys up to 3rd Form having three or four beds in each room together with ample storage facilities for clothes and personal items.
4th and 5th Form boys share an annex, which is attached to the main building by a small corridor, where the rooms are designed for two to share. All bedrooms are a good size and each boy has his own study desk. There are eight double rooms in the Sixth Form annex, four on each floor. Each floor has its own bathroom facilities and there is a separate kitchen.
Sixth Form boys share Spooner Cottage. This is a self-contained cottage with single bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen and a communal space.
There is also residential accommodation for the Housemistress and Assistant Housemistresses.
Holbache celebrates success in every area of School life, whether it be sport, music, drama, art, academic or service to others in any way. The House is proud of its happy atmosphere, and tries to offer something for everyone; whether a budding sportsman who enjoys large groups, or a quieter atmosphere with a couple of friends. Each individual has a right to be themselves, and those individuals combine to make Holbache what it is; a fun, caring, and homely place to live.
