Guinevere House
Guinevere - known as Guine - is a happy, lively community of 41 girls set in a purpose built boarding house with beautiful views over the school and Oswestry town.
Most rooms are designed for two to share, but there are also some single bedrooms. House Prefects and Upper Sixth girls are given single rooms wherever possible. Each of the rooms has a washbasin, desks, as well as ample storage. There are kitchen facilities where the girls may prepare snacks, and a spacious common room/television lounge with a smart television.
There is also residential accommodation for the Housemistress and Assistant Housemistresses.
Guinevere girls pride themselves on their community spirit and supportive ethos - almost all communal rooms are available for anyone to use, so inter-year friendships abound. There is an excellent pastoral team and a buddy system for new pupils, which means that they settle quickly. The girls are happy and comfortable with their work and their environment and this underpins life at Guinevere. Participation is very much encouraged.
