Fees

Oswestry School is an independent school, overseen by a board of governors who agree the fee levels each year. Founded by David Holbache in 1407, Oswestry School is a charity (no. 1079822) and as such reinvests any surplus made back into the school, ensuring that future generations of Oswestrians receive the very finest of British education that their predecessors have experienced over the past 600+ years.

Oswestry School aims to keep its fees as low as possible and sits at a very competitive level compared to schools of a similar type nationally. We appreciate what a commitment it is for parents to pay for a leading education and as such would recommend that you gain independent financial advice to secure the best method for paying these fees.

2024 ISI Inspection

We are pleased to report that our full ISI Inspection 2024 resulted in an impressive outcome for Oswestry School. The report strongly endorses the quality of teaching and learning, pastoral care and wide-ranging co-curricular programme.

We are proud that all standards were deemed to be fully met in the inspection.

This is a tribute to the hard work of all the staff, pupils, governors, and of course parents, in supporting the school's vision to provide the very best all-round education and develop young people of character who will make a difference in the world around them.
