Entrance Requirements and Procedures
We welcome international pupils from the age of 11 and work with agents and families to ensure the smoothest admissions process to Oswestry School. In the first instance we will need your child's name, date of birth, and proposed year of entry together with copies of their most recent school reports. Prosective pupils will be asked to sit the School's Mathematics and English tests. For GCSE entry, we expect pupils to have a level of English of CEFR Level B1 or IELTS 4.0, and for Sixth Form, CEFR Level B2 or IELTS 5.0. A visit to the School is also required for an interview with the Headmaster before an offer can be made (Skype interviews can be organised if a visit is not feasible).
