Oswestry School boasts a wide range of excellent sporting facilities across the School campus which are immaculately maintained by our dedicated grounds team.
Momentum Hall
The multi sport hall can be divided into different combinations to suit an array of activities. There is space for two netball courts, two tennis courts, court spaces for badminton, volleyball and basketball, plus there are three indoor cricket nets and can cater for functions of up to 800 people.
Swimming Pool
We offer a 20 metre pool with an ascending depth of 1-2 metres and 5 lanes. The pool can be split into lanes to suit an array of activities such as aqua aerobics, canoe club, swimming lessons and scuba diving.
Astro Pitch
We offer a floodlit astro pitch which can be set up and divided for a variety of activities and is ideal for hockey and football. It can also provide 2 tennis courts in the summer.
Outdoor Pitches
On our extensive playing fields we offer 1 cricket pitch, 4 football pitches and 3 rugby pitches.
Peter Humphreys Centre (PHC)
A substantial hard-floor hall with large projector screen and separate bar area. The interior can be dressed as a marquee.
Bellan House Hall
A listed room with Georgian architecture, a sprung wooden dance floor and projector screen. Can be used for dance/fitness classes or as a meeting space.
