FLOURISHMENT
Samuel (U6th), Jasper (5th), James (5th) & Jack (U6th)
For demonstrating outstanding leadership skills on the CCF overnight camp at Nesscliffe. They organised themselves and their group, offered support and encouragement to others and were extremely positive throughout. Thank you.
Henry (5th)
For demonstrating outstanding leadership skills on the CCF overnight camp at Nesscliffe. He organised himself and his group, offered support and encouragement to others and was extremely positive throughout. Thank you.
Henry also took part in the Founder’s Day shoot against the OO’s. His performance was very good against significant opposition and on the back of very no real practice being both early in the term and given he now does FSMQ and not shooting. He still agreed to be part of the school team, and provided a sizeable input into the team’s overall score. He showed great determination to succeed and helped the school to a much closer result than last year. This time there were less than 10 points in it. Well done Henry, another great effort and so close in the end.
INNOVATIVE
Kseniia (U6th)
A fantastic presentation on Donne in Assembly this week. You created a speech that was interesting, informative and great fun, and the whole school was engaged and enjoying it. Well done!
Kseniia is also recognised for having countless energy and drive to ensure that our boarders enjoy their time at Oswestry School. She is very caring about others and a shining example.
PROACTIVE
Willie (L6th)
Fantastic work creating our new Lost and Found site! He has been an absolute star in creating a Google site for us to show all the lost property to students and parents. He has worked in conjunction with our IT Manager and taught himself how to use this software. Without him we could not have produced the site, which will go live this week.
RESILIENT
Rory (3rd)
Rory took part in the Founder’s Day shoot against the OO’s. His performance was very good against significant opposition and on the back of very limited practice being early in the term. Given that one of the opposition was his dad, there was increased pressure, and although he didn’t gain the final result he wanted, he did manage to outscore him individually. He showed great determination to succeed and helped the school to a much closer result than last year. This time there were less than 10 points in it. Well done Rory, another great effort and so close in the end.
RESPONSIBILITY
Samuel (3rd)
Samuel has already proven an excellent, welcoming 'boarding buddy' to three new occasional School House boarders, despite being a very new boarder himself!
Yustyna (L6th)
An excellent presentation about the Ukrainian language delivered to year 3 pupils in the prep school to celebrate the European Day of Languages 2026. Well done Yustyna.
Volodymyr (L6th)
Volodymyr went above and beyond, and delivered an excellent presentation to pupils in years 4 and 5 in the prep school about the Ukrainian language and its culture, to celebrate the European Day of Languages 2026. The pupils were so interested to hear about what he had to teach them.
Noah (L6th) & Isha (L6th)
Noah and Isha went above and beyond, delivering fantastic presentations to pupils in years 4 and 5 in the prep school about the German language and its culture. This was to celebrate the European Day of Languages 2026.
Luisa (L6th)
