​On Sunday 30 March 2025, It was a privilege for Oswestry School to host this year’s High Sheriff of Shropshire's Legal Service luncheon and afternoon tea celebrating the shrieval year of High Sheriff Brian Welti JP who is an Oswestry School Governor.

Two teams from Oswestry School's 2nd Form took part in the Faraday Challenge at Ysgol Clywedog. One of our teams won the challenge, finishing 15 points ahead of the runners-up!

Headmaster Peter Middleton recently handed over a £500 cheque to Debi Lumley-Edwards, a trustee of Whittington Music Festival. “We are delighted that Oswestry School is able to sponsor Whittington Music Festival for a third year,” said Mr Middleton.

We have some excellent staff news to celebrate...Oswestry School maths Teacher, Helen Bainbridge, has been selected into the Welsh O45 squad for the forthcoming European Masters Hockey Championships.
