4th form pupil, Maisey, had a successful day out competing recently at Ellesmere College, at the West Midlands and North West British Shooting Schools Championships...

Maisey won gold at the West Midlands event - at only her 2nd time shooting a 10m distance.   In the group of 46 mixed M/F athletes in the Immediate age category, Maisey was one of the youngest. After reaching 7th place in round 1, this took her into the overall regional final 8. A nail-biting finale which consisted of a knockout points system accumulating in over 20 rounds for her! 

Maisey will now have the opportunity to complete in a National Schools Championship which consists of the best 18 ranked from the 6 regions across the UK.  Congratulations to Maisey on your achievement.
