Last weekend Lower 6th pupil, Zac, competed in the Shrewsbury half marathon. This event is known for being particularly tough due to it's hilly route around the town - including the Welsh & English Bridges, Kingsland, Porthill, Coleham, The Quarry, Frankwell, and the picturesque town centre.

Zac achieved a 3min PB, finishing in 1hr 21min - 21st overall finisher.  This was an excellent result, considering he was the youngest runner competing, having only become old enough to enter 3 weeks prior to the race!
