Headmaster Peter Middleton recently handed over a £500 cheque to Debi Lumley-Edwards, a trustee of Whittington Music Festival.

“We are delighted that Oswestry School is able to sponsor Whittington Music Festival for a third year,” said Mr Middleton. “It is a fantastic festival, which brings world-class musicians to our doorstep. The concerts are superb and it has been wonderful to see so many young people enjoying the concerts - often their first taste of top quality classical music.”

Whittington Music Festival will take place in St John the Baptist Church in Whittington from 15th to 18th May. Tickets can be bought from the box office on the festival website whittingtonmusicfestival.org.uk.

Under 26s are admitted to concerts free of charge but do still need to book tickets as the concerts often sell out.
