Oswestry's inaugural Summer School was a fantastic success. Pupils travelled from a wide variety of nations to join a programme packed full of academic challenge and co-curricular excitement.
From learning about Government and Politics in the classroom to visiting sites of local and national cultural interest such as Chester and Stratford, they gained confidence, improved their English and, perhaps most importantly, became part of the Oswestry Family.
Big ticket events - our 'Play in a Day' (in which pupils mounted their own production of Shakespeare's 'Midsummer Night's Dream' and our Gala Concert in which they produced and performed their own compositions alongside professional musicians saw them nurturing existing skills, gaining new ones and breaking down international barriers as they worked with UK pupils on the programme.

Early bird bookings are already open for next year's extended programme (contact summer@oswestryschool.com) and we have exciting plans to expand and develop the programme which will be communicated in due course.
