Congratulations to Oswestry pupil, Bella, who designed the winning entry for the 2024 Oswestry Youth Music Festival 'design a logo competition'. Oswestry Town Mayor, Olly Rose, visited Oswestry School today to present Bella with her prize - a £20 Booka Bookshop voucher and some stickers featuring her winning logo design. 

The festival committee chose Bella’s beautifully-drawn, fun and colourful design from the dozens of entries sent in by children from schools all over North Shropshire. 

The logo will be used on the cover of the festival’s programme and made into large stickers which are handed out to all the competitors.  These stickers are highly prized by the young musicians who often build up a collection of them on their music bags and instrument cases over the years - so Bella’s 2024 design will be seen for many years to come!

Oswestry Youth Music festival takes place from 27th February to 3rd March and we have 50 pupils taking part this year.
