We received a visit from a local hero this afternoon - 53 Marathon runner Amy Hughes dropped by to ask for our help in her latest fundraising challenge!   

10 years ago Amy ran 53 marathons in 53 days, an epic achievement! To celebrate the 10 year anniversary, Amy decided to dust off her trainers and take up a new challenge to raise funds for another charity close to her heart. She is currently running 53km in 53 consecutive days (2809km) for mental health charity bigmoose

Thank you to all the pupils who ran with Amy over on Maes-y-Llan today! This was day 45 of her running challenge and she was really grateful for the moral support from schools in the Oswestry area.
