Oswestry School GCSE Results 2021

The second day of exam results this week brought the arrival of our Fifth Form GCSE results. This year, Oswestry School celebrates another set of fantastic results, with 38% of the grades within the A*-A/9-7 bracket and 93% of all grades sitting within the A*-C/9-4 bracket.

We are extremely proud of every one of our pupils and how they have shown such resilience through a very difficult two years, proving that hard work and dedication really does pay off.

It is hard to single out a few when so many have done so well; but Nils Bachmann, Bethan Boydon, Josh Counter, Edward Morris and Becky Roberts have achieved particularly impressive grades.

Julian Noad, Headmaster of Oswestry School said, ‘This year our GCSE results have been entirely teacher-assessed, supported by multiple assessments and they can be argued to be more reliable than ever. I’d like to congratulate our pupils for all of their successes - not just in these excellent GCSE grades awarded but also in their resilience in such challenging times. I am delighted and proud of them all and of our school.’
